UH is the sole owner of the information collected on the UH Site. All data is retrieved and returned over SSL Any user data that we are collecting not covered in cookies (see below) is securely stored in a MySQL database on the same server that can only be accessed by a user of the server (the db is stored with a password and the user account to access the server is secured via password or SSH (Secure Shell Protocol) key.

UH does not store or use credit card numbers for any purpose other than to obtain donations as authorized by visitors to the site. We also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted as to access. Only employees or authorized agents of UH who need the information to perform a specific job function are granted access to Personally Identifiable Information. Furthermore, all employees and authorized agents are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.
